Women's Ministry

It is my desire that you pursue the various ministries offered to the women of Calvary Chapel San Diego, and that you would be stirred up to love and good works. My prayer is that our women would grow in love, grace, and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ through the various avenues of fellowship and teaching. The Women's Ministry is unique in that we offer biblical truth and prayerful concern as we come together to strengthen and encourage each other.

Christian women need to be taught what the Word of God says about being godly women in an ungodly society. We follow the pattern described in Titus 2:3-5—older women teaching younger women to love our husbands, to love and train our children in the way they should go, to have gentle and quiet spirits, to be a light in the workplace, and to take care of our homes.

We have various areas of ministry within the Women's Ministry. My desire is to have you participate in an area that God is prompting on your heart. There are eight areas of ministry available with various opportunities within each. We have Discipleship, Prayer, Bible Studies, Ministries to Mothers, Ministries in Action, Care Ministries, Leadership Opportunities and Events, and Technical Ministries. Whatever stage of life you are going through, whether young, middle aged, or older, there is an opportunity for you to be ministered to, and/or to which you can be a part of ministry.
