Women's Ministry: Ministries to Mothers He will gently lead those that are with young. — Isaiah 40:11
Moms and Kids
"By this shall ALL know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." — John 13:35
Moms & Kids meet at Cottonwood Park or the beach (during the summer) to pray & spur each other on to love & good works. They meet at 1:30 p.m. until around 5:00 p.m. This is a time for moms and their kids to gather with other moms and kids to pray together, share about the Lord, and interact about family, church, & the community; ultimately by serving others, and sharing the love our LORD with each other! This is a great opportunity to minister to non Christian moms, too. Come be a blessing & be blessed!
Ministry to Single Moms
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. — Isaiah 41:10
Our vision is to come alongside and encourage single moms as they endeavor to raise their children in the Lord. Our goal is that they would be built up in the word, fellowship, and prayer as they trust God to be their ultimate Provider and Father. We encourage Bible study and prayer in personal devotions, discipleship and home group studies. We will offer special outings and fellowship opportunities for moms and their children.
Mommy and Child Classes
The idea behind these classes is to have organized classes of specific activities designed for interaction between a mother and her child. It may be a craft class, music class, or even a special outing just for mommy and child. We are still developing these classes, so when we have details we will let it be known.
Coming of Age Workshop
This ministry is to encourage/come alongside mothers who desire to prepare for a special "coming of age" ceremony/party for their pre-teen/teenage daughter. Our goal is to present opportunities and ideas in discipleship and preparation for the passage from childhood to adulthood, in hopes that our daughters would see the importance of legacy in serving God, family, and the church body.
